How Do I Write a Story?

Writing a story is just making stuff up!  It’s totally easy!

What do I write about?

Anything! Write about something you love:  Knights in shining armor, fairies, sharks, aliens, you name it.

I don’t know how to start . . .

Come to one of my shows and get inspired.  You can also play the Story Invention Game any time you want.

Where else can I learn about writing?

These people know more than you can ever imagine about writing:

• Your teachers
• Your school librarian
• Your children’s librarian at your local library
• Your parents (you’d be surprised at what they know)
