Balloon Story Writing Adventure! is a comprehensive writing program for grades K-6, designed to help raise grade-level English-Language Arts and English-Language Development testing scores.

This program starts with The Balloon Story Writing Adventure! creative writing school assembly. The show starts with interactive storytelling, using balloons as costumes and props and audience members as actors. Annie then leads the students in the Story Invention Game, a brainstorming game based on the main parts of speech. Using the results of this game and more interactive “balloon storytelling,” Annie and the audience write and perform an original story right there during the assembly.
After the inspirational Giant 6-Foot Balloon, the assembly ends with a contest challenge for the students: Enter the Story Writing Contest to win a free follow-up assembly for their school!
CA Educational Standards: The main focus of this 45 or 60-minute assembly is English-Language Arts and English-Language Development.
The program continues throughout the school year with Grade-Level Classroom Workshops.
